•LECTURES
Lectures
by faculty members give necessary inputs to the students. The
lectures are delivered and made effective by making use of the latest
audio-visual teaching aids like OHPs, LCD projection systems,
whiteboards etc.
•GUEST
LECTURES
ITERC
provides practical experiences of industrial life by extensive
industry interface, practicing the 3-I concept (Industry-Institute-
Interface). Regular weekly guest lectures from industry
leaders/experts in different areas are arranged to provide valuable
insights into contemporary business and industrial practices.
•CASESTUDIES/
DISCUSSION
This
method of teaching is employed to develop the mental ability of each
student and encourage him or her to ensure they understand as to how
the theory learnt applies in real life managerial situations. A fair
opportunity is given to each student to develop his/her
problem-solving and presentation skills.
•PROJECTS
& ASSIGNMENTS
Projects
and assignments form an integral part of the curriculum. Projects are
identified based on industrial needs for the student to select from.
Guidance to work on the project is provided by the course instructor.
• SEMINARS
& WORKSHOPS
To
develop more and more efficiency in the students ITERC organises
seminars, workshops and conferences and that encourages professional
discussions between students and practicing managers.
• ROLE-PLAYING
& SIMULATION
Role-playing
gives students a chance to live the roles and practice the concepts
beforehand. Computerized business simulation games simulate the real
business world environment.
• SUMMER
TRAINING
After
completing first year of the programme, students are required to
undertake summer internships in an industry for 8-10 weeks. This
training helps students to have first hand experience of the industry
practices. It makes them aware of current industry trends and
necessary skills required to progress in today's professional
environment.
